Nawazuddin to play lead role in Bejoy Nambiar's 'Focus'

Director Bejoy Nambiar who proved his artistic mettle with 'Shaitan' and 'David' is planning his next venture with Nawazuddin Siddiqui of Gangs of Wasseypur fame.

Nambiar’s next project will be helmed by debutante Akarsh Khurana. Akarsh has made a name in Bollywood by writing screenplays for films like Kites and recently for Krrish 3.  Arvind Swamy, the Bombay and Roja actor, will also make a comeback with this film as an equivalent lead to Nawazuddin.

The film has got a provisional title Focus, though no heroine has yet been finalised for the same. Bejoy, who loves dark genres, for a change will be making a drama film which will have a tinge of humour.

When asked Bejoy about the film, he confirmed the news and said, "It's too early to talk about the film. We will start shooting next year."
